On Wednesday, 09/04/1447 AH, the College’s Female Section, represented by the Guidance and Advising Unit, organized an introductory lecture on the “Ask Me” initiative, presented by seventh-level student Rana Al-Dawood to fifth-level students. The initiative aims to foster a culture of academic guidance and ease students’ adaptation to university life through support from more experienced peers.
The program seeks to provide direct communication and academic support channels among students, encourage active participation in university activities, and promote a spirit of collaboration and mutual assistance. It also serves as a bridge between students and academic or psychological advisors within the College.
The session began with an overview of the initiative’s goals, the role of participating students, registration procedures, and selection criteria. Student inquiries were addressed, and guidance was offered on how to benefit from the initiative. The event received positive engagement from attendees and helped strengthen connections across academic levels, highlighting the importance of integration and cooperation in the university environment and the vital role of peer-led guidance initiatives in empowering students both academically and socially.
