The college, represented by the Community Service Unit, organized a training program titled “Data Protection in Government Agencies” on Monday 15/8/1447 AH, targeting employees of Al‑Hilwah Municipality. The program was delivered by Dr. Abdullah bin Saad Al‑Ajmi.
The training covered several key topics, including an introduction to data concepts, types of data, methods of classifying data in the workplace, as well as an overview of essential policies and controls for data protection within government entities. The program also emphasized the importance of information security and enhancing employees’ capabilities in handling data according to best practices.
This program comes as part of the Community Service Unit’s efforts to support government agencies and develop the skills of their staff, in alignment with digital transformation initiatives and the enhancement of information security standards.
