The College (female campus), represented by the Student Activities Unit, organized a scientific event titled “Contemporary Database Architecture: Supporting Intelligent Decision‑Making”, presented by students of the Database Management Systems course under the supervision of Dr. Heba Allah Al‑Waishi, on Thursday 20/11/1447 AH.
The students explored the concept of modern database architecture and its role in managing data and transforming it into strategic value for decision‑making, with a focus on Big Data Integration, Data Lakehouse technologies, and cloud computing. The presentation also covered analytical levels in decision‑support systems and the importance of real‑time, high‑quality data in enhancing accuracy and responsiveness.
The event showcased leading national examples such as NEOM, SDAIA, and STC, along with an audio contribution from the Ministry of Human Resources highlighting the importance of developing database architecture in digital work environments. The session concluded by emphasizing that the future of decision‑making begins with intelligent and flexible data architecture, accompanied by educational materials that enriched the scientific content and strengthened audience engagement.
