The College, represented by the Academic Advising Committee in the Accounting Department, organized a student-led event titled “Peer Advisor” on Wednesday, 09/04/1447 AH. The session was presented by eighth-level students to their fourth-level peers, aiming to promote a culture of academic advising among students.
The initiative focused on reinforcing the concept of peer support through more experienced colleagues and establishing direct communication channels that contribute to improved academic performance and reduced challenges. The session began with an introduction to the “Peer Advisor” initiative, followed by students sharing practical experiences in preparing study schedules, managing study time, applying effective group review strategies, and choosing a major aligned with personal strengths and future opportunities.
Students also provided direct contact channels to their peers for ongoing support and inquiries. The event received positive engagement and helped foster collaboration and integration across academic levels, reflecting the importance of peer-led initiatives in enhancing the university experience.
