On Monday, 14/04/1447 AH, the College, represented by the Guidance and Advising Unit and in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit, organized an awareness lecture titled “A Step Toward Excellence,” presented by Dr. Rabab Hamdi Jameel. The session aimed to motivate female students to continuously strive for academic and skillful excellence throughout their university journey.
The lecture covered the requirements for earning First and Second Class Honors, introducing students to the general criteria, including: not failing any course and completing at least 60% of graduation requirements at the university. It also clarified the grading weight for each course and explained how the cumulative GPA is calculated.
The session concluded with practical recommendations to help students achieve balance and success in their academic lives. The event received positive engagement from attendees, who enriched the discussion with thoughtful questions and contributions, reflecting their dedication to academic excellence.
