The Dean of the College, Dr. Badr bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, met with the new students on Monday, 1446/2/22 AH. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Tamimi welcomed the students and congratulated them on their acceptance into the college, wishing them success and prosperity.
During the meeting, he spoke about the duties of university students, emphasizing the importance of diligence and hard work at the beginning of their university journey. He explained the impact of this on the cumulative GPA, noting that the GPA is an indicator of a student’s academic performance throughout their university studies. He urged students to pay attention to it from the start.
Following this, the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Musallam Al-Tamimi, explained the main academic procedures, clarifying the mechanisms of absence and deprivation, how these are calculated, and the process for withdrawing from a course or semester, postponing a semester, and how to apply for these, along with the relevant deadlines.
