Introduction to the Department of Management
The decision of establishing the Department of Management at College of Business Administration in Hotat Bani Tamim was issued in 1429 AH under the name of ‘Department of Business Administration’. This was followed the university rector’s decree in 1445 AH to change the name to ‘the Department of Administration’ The department will receive students in the year 1446 AH God willing. The department grants a bachelor's degree in management and aims to graduate highly qualified students to meet the increasing needs of the local labor market for these competencies.
The department is run by highly qualified faculty members who are distinguished graduates of the best international universities. Moreover; Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University is keen to send its faculty members (demonstrators and lecturers) to highly ranked universities overseas to enable them to transfer this knowledge to their students.
The importance of the Department of Management is reflected by the pivotal role its graduates play in governmental institutions and private companies; as they are keen to attract competencies from this specialty. Moreover; The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s focus, in accordance with the 2030 vision of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, is on raising the enrollment rates in scientific and qualitative specializations needed in the labor market: The Department of Management being one of these pivotal specializations.
