The college's "Female Students' Section," represented by the Student Activities Unit, organized a celebratory event on the occasion of International Accounting Day on Wednesday, 18th of Jumada Al-Awwal 1446 AH, titled "Our Roots Are Strong". This event reflects the strong foundation on which the accounting profession is built and its important role in the world of finance and business.
The event began with an introduction to the accounting profession, its branches, and the career fields available to accountants. This was followed by accounting activities and interactive competitions between students and faculty members to reinforce accounting concepts. The accompanying exhibition highlighted the main activities performed by accountants in their work, such as cash registers, journals, ledgers, and financial statements, along with accounting-themed gifts and publications.
The event witnessed great interaction and enjoyment, significantly contributing to reinforcing the role of accountants in promoting transparency and objectivity across various sectors, while also adding a sense of humor and joy among students and faculty members.
