The college, represented by the Community Service Committee of the Accounting Department, organized an introductory meeting on the Volunteer Work Platform on Sunday, 24th of Rabi' al-Thani 1446 AH, at 7 PM, via Zoom. The meeting was presented by Mr. Rayan Al-Qebaisi, a lecturer in the Accounting Department.
The meeting aimed to introduce the National Platform for Volunteer Work, affiliated with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and to motivate students to participate in available volunteer opportunities.
The meeting included a detailed explanation of how to register on the platform, take advantage of the available volunteer opportunities, and how students can contribute to community service through volunteer activities. Live examples of previous successful volunteer projects were presented, showcasing their positive impact on the community and the volunteers themselves.
The meeting witnessed significant interaction from the students, who showed interest and inquiries about how to join and effectively participate in volunteer opportunities. At the end of the meeting, a discussion was opened to answer questions and clarify any inquiries from the students, which contributed to increasing their awareness and encouraging them to engage in volunteer work
