In the presence of the College Dean, Dr. Badr Al-Tamimi, the college organized a visit with a group of college students to the Ibex Reserve in the province on Wednesday, 13 Sha'ban 1446 AH.
The visiting delegation was received by the reserve's director, Mr. Abdullah bin Ali bin Qorba, who welcomed the delegation and spoke about the history of the reserve, its stages of development, and its plans for environmental protection, particularly in preserving wildlife. He also highlighted the types and numbers of animals in the reserve.
Mr. bin Qorba emphasized the importance of raising community awareness about environmental conservation and the need for the community to cooperate with the reserve to ensure the preservation and growth of all environmental resources.
Afterwards, the college delegation toured the reserve, observed several animals, and visited the Humait Spring to learn about its impact on the surrounding vegetation
