As part of strengthening cooperation between the College and government entities in Hotat Bani Tamim Governorate, the College organized a blood donation campaign at its campus in collaboration with Hotat Bani Tamim General Hospital. The campaign was held over two days, starting on Sunday, 24/10/1447 AH.
The campaign was inaugurated by the College Dean, Dr. Badr Al‑Tamimi, who emphasized the importance of participating in such humanitarian initiatives. He encouraged the College’s staff and students, as well as members of the local community, to contribute to meeting the hospital’s need for blood units.
From its outset, the campaign followed organized procedures that included registering donors and conducting the necessary medical examinations to ensure their eligibility to donate. A specialized medical team from Hotat Bani Tamim General Hospital supervised the donation process to ensure donor safety. A comfortable, well‑equipped area was also prepared for donors, with refreshments provided after the donation.
The campaign witnessed wide participation from the College community and local residents, resulting in the collection of a significant number of blood units that will support the hospital’s needs and contribute to saving lives.
At the conclusion of the event, the College Dean, Dr. Badr Al‑Tamimi, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all participants and contributors. He praised the spirit of cooperation between the College and the hospital, highlighting the noble humanitarian value embodied in this initiative. He also expressed his hope for the continuation of such charitable and volunteer activities that serve the local community and promote the values of giving and collaboration.
