On Sunday, 18 / 05 / 1447 AH, the female section of the college, represented by the Guidance and Counseling Unit, organized an awareness session on the occasion of the International Day Against Violence and Bullying. The session was delivered by Dr. Basma Medhat Farhat, as part of the college’s efforts to raise awareness and foster a safe academic environment built on mutual respect.

The session targeted female students with the aim of highlighting the dangers of bullying and its negative impacts on individuals and society. It addressed the concept of bullying and its various forms—verbal, physical, and cyber—while explaining the psychological and social consequences it may leave on victims, such as loss of self-confidence, social isolation, and decline in academic performance.

The session also discussed methods to reduce and combat bullying by promoting a culture of respect and tolerance, and encouraging the reporting of any abusive behavior, thereby contributing to the creation of a healthy and safe educational environment.

The event concluded with an emphasis on the importance of empowering students to play an active role in spreading a culture of respect within the campus and the wider community, reflecting the college’s commitment to supporting human values and enhancing social awareness.
