The college, represented by the Student Activities Unit, participated in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs in collaboration with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Accelerator, on Monday 24/11/1447 AH at the College of Engineering in Al‑Kharj. Students from the Management Information Systems Department presented two distinguished projects: “Sustainable Smart Plant Management System (Faseelah)” supervised by Dr. Heba Allah Al‑Waishi, and “Intelligent System for Managing and Enhancing Employee Performance” supervised by Dr. Abdullah Al‑Ajmi and Dr. Afnan Al‑Nafeesa, reflecting their scientific and technical capabilities.
His Excellency the University President, Prof. Abdullah Al‑Tamim, inaugurated the event and reviewed the participating projects from various colleges and supporting entities. He listened to the students’ presentations and praised their high level of performance and the potential for transforming their projects into practical applications that serve the community and labor market.
The participation also witnessed the presence of the college’s leadership, who expressed their support and encouragement for the students, emphasizing the importance of such engagements in promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
