The College – female campus, represented by the Student Activities Unit – organized a scientific event titled “Between Privacy and Data Analysis: Digital Surveillance in Information Systems”, presented by students of the Management Information Systems course under the supervision of Dr. Heba Allah Al‑Waishi. The event explored the concept of digital surveillance and the mechanisms of collecting and analyzing user data through algorithms and artificial intelligence, while clarifying the privacy challenges associated with granting applications broad access to sensitive information.

The event also addressed the legal aspects of data protection and featured an audio contribution from a cybersecurity specialist, in addition to an interactive Kahoot competition and recognition of the winners. It concluded with awareness materials and an open discussion with the College Vice Dean, who praised the strong organization and scientific depth of the session.
