Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Al‑Anwar Sports Club with the aim of strengthening joint cooperation in sports, scientific, and community fields, in a way that supports developmental initiatives and promotes integration between academic and sports institutions.

The memorandum was signed in the presence of representatives from both sides. The university was represented by the Dean of the College of Business Administration in Hotat Bani Tamim, Dr. Badr bin Abdulaziz Al‑Tamimi, while Al‑Anwar Sports Club was represented by its CEO, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Saad Al‑Shathri.

The memorandum aims to foster collaboration between the two parties in several areas, most notably the development of sports activities, the implementation of joint programs in community service and social development, and the organization of sports and community events. It also includes cooperation in training, development, and the exchange of expertise.

The memorandum further provides for enabling beneficiaries from both sides to utilize available facilities and equipment in accordance with approved regulations and guidelines, contributing to the support of joint programs and expanding the use of human and material resources.

This memorandum comes as part of the university’s commitment to building bridges of cooperation with various community institutions and activating strategic partnerships that support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. It also reinforces the university’s role in serving the community and developing national capabilities across different fields.

The partnership is expected to contribute to launching joint initiatives and programs that enhance the development of sports and community work, and support both parties’ efforts in achieving institutional integration and benefiting from shared expertise and resources.
