On Wednesday, 11 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1447 AH, the College’s Female Section, represented by the Student Activities Unit, organized a welcoming ceremony for newly admitted female students in the college auditorium, marking the beginning of the first academic semester.

The event commenced with an introduction by student Dana Al-Tamimi, followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. Then, a speech from the Dean of the College, Dr. Badr Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, was delivered on his behalf by Dr. Rabab Hamdi. She welcomed the students, congratulated them on their admission, and introduced them to the college, offering motivational advice to encourage diligence from the very start of their academic journey.

The program also included an awareness segment presented by Dr. Hanan Saqr, in which she discussed academic regulations and guidelines, the process of accessing the university’s electronic portal, the importance of monitoring class schedules and attendance rates, and addressed students’ rights and responsibilities, responding to their inquiries.

Ms. Manal Al-Duhaim, Student Activities Supervisor, spoke about the role of extracurricular activities in developing talents and nurturing ideas. She explained the various branches of student activities and how to participate in them, accompanied by a visual presentation showcasing the unit’s highlights from the previous year.

The ceremony concluded with a segment by the Guidance and Counseling Unit, where Dr. Rabab emphasized the unit’s importance and its role in supporting students. She affirmed the university’s commitment to providing an effective advisory environment, introduced the unit’s divisions and supervisors, and shared future aspirations aimed at enhancing students’ academic and psychological well-being.
