The Student Activities Unit at the college organized a visit for a group of students to Al-Wa'ul Reserve in the province on Sunday, 2 Sha'ban 1445 AH.
The visiting delegation was welcomed by the reserve's director, Mr. Abdullah bin Ali bin Qarba, who greeted the group and spoke about the history of the reserve, highlighting its development stages and its plans for environmental protection, particularly wildlife conservation. He also discussed the types and numbers of animals in the reserve.
Mr. Bin Qarba emphasized the importance of raising community awareness about environmental conservation and the need for community cooperation with the reserve to help preserve and grow all environmental resources.
Afterward, the college delegation toured the reserve, observing various animals and visiting the Humeit spring, learning about its impact on the surrounding vegetation.
This visit is part of the college's role in collaborating with other government entities in the province to implement volunteer programs and initiatives that serve the community.
