As part of the cooperation between the college and other governmental entities in the province, the college, in collaboration with Hotat Bani Tamim General Hospital, organized a blood donation campaign at its premises over two days starting from Sunday, 22nd Jumada Al-Awwal 1446 AH.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Badr Al-Tamimi, inaugurated the campaign and urged college staff to participate, also inviting members of the local community to contribute.
The campaign began with registering and screening donors to ensure their eligibility to donate blood, with a specialized medical team from Hotat Bani Tamim General Hospital overseeing the donation process and ensuring donor safety. A comfortable space was provided for donors, along with refreshments after the donation.
The campaign witnessed wide participation from college staff and local community members, successfully collecting a significant amount of blood to support the needs of Hotat Bani Tamim General Hospital.
At the end of the campaign, Dr. Badr Al-Tamimi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all participants and contributors for making the event a success, praising the spirit of cooperation between the college and the hospital, which was exemplified in this noble humanitarian effort. He expressed hope for the continuation of such charitable and volunteer activities that contribute to serving the local community and promote the values of giving and cooperation
