On Wednesday, 11/3/1447 AH, the Acting Dean of the College of Business Administration in Hotat Bani Tamim, Dr. Badr Al-Tamimi, met with newly admitted students.
At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Al-Tamimi welcomed the students and congratulated them on their admission to the college and the beginning of the new academic semester, wishing them success and excellence.
During the meeting, he spoke about the responsibilities of university students, emphasizing the importance of diligence and commitment at the start of their academic journey. He highlighted the impact of early effort on the cumulative GPA, noting that the GPA serves as an indicator of a student’s academic performance throughout their university studies. He urged students to pay close attention to it from the beginning.
Following that, the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Musallam Al-Tamimi, explained the policies regarding attendance and deprivation, how these are calculated, and the procedures for course or semester withdrawal, postponement, and the relevant deadlines.
Dr. Abdulwahid Mutawakkil, Assistant Professor at the college, also presented a detailed overview of the electronic systems and services available to students. His presentation included guidance on accessing the academic system, submitting academic requests, and using the digital advising platform and the e-learning portal.
At the conclusion of the meeting, several students raised questions and inquiries, which were addressed by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Musallam Al-Tamimi and Dr. Abdulwahid Mutawakkil.
