The college’s female campus, represented by the Guidance and Counseling Committee and in collaboration with the Academic Advising Committee of the Accounting Department, organized an introductory session on the “Peer Mentor Initiative” on Tuesday and Wednesday, 16–17/8/1447 AH. The session was presented by a group of peer mentors.

The event began with an introduction to the initiative and its objectives, which focus on strengthening cooperation among students and creating a safe and supportive university environment through academic support provided by high‑achieving students to their peers. The session also explained the role of the peer mentor in assisting academically struggling students and supporting their psychological and social well‑being, in addition to introducing the initiative’s members.

Students’ questions regarding how to benefit from the initiative and ways to request support were addressed. The session concluded by emphasizing the importance of seeking help when needed—whether academic, psychological, or social—as a means to promote a culture of collaboration and mutual support among students.

The event received positive engagement from attendees and contributed to enhancing communication among students across different academic levels.
