The college welcomes its new female students
The college (female section) welcomed its new students who were admitted in the first semester of the academic year 1446 AH. The ceremony was held in the college theater on Tuesday, 23/2/1446 AH, in the presence of the Vice Dean, the Student Activities Supervisor, several faculty members, and students.
The ceremony included several segments aimed at introducing the students to the college and the services and activities it offers. The event began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcoming speech by the Vice Dean, Prof. Mleha Al-Qahtani, on behalf of the Dean of the College, Dr. Badr Al-Tamimi. She congratulated the students on their acceptance and emphasized the importance of diligence and hard work in seeking knowledge and taking advantage of the opportunities available at the college. She also provided practical advice on how to adapt to university life and overcome potential challenges.
Following this, Dr. Heba Al-Weshi explained the college’s regulations and guidelines, how to access and use the university’s online portal, and answered students’ questions regarding the academic schedule, attendance rates, the academic calendar, and other study-related topics. Finally, the Student Activities Supervisor spoke about the importance of participating in cultural, artistic, and volunteer activities organized by the college, which contribute to developing students’ skills and talents and fostering a sense of belonging and cooperation among them.
