The college dean: Dr. Ibrahim Aldawood met with students on Tuesday 10/2/1444. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Dawood welcomed the students, and congratulated them on their admission to the college and the new university semester, wishing them success.
Then he addressed the university student duties mentioning the importance of diligence and commitment in the first semester of the university and its impact on the cumulative average. He called the students to observe that GPA is an indicator of the student’s achievement level in their university studies, which entails considering it seriously from their first semester.
Dr Ibrahim Al-Dawood talked about the new university calendar and the trimester system, explaining its impact on developing students’ cognitive skills, and stressing the need for the student to get aware of its regulations.
Subsequently, the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al Musallam Al-Tamimi, the university’s academic system regulation, detailing the absence and decline policy, absence calculation method, Withdrawn, dismissal, or postponement methods, and application of such procedures. He also explained how to login into and apply through the academic system.
The Department of Finance Dr. Ahmed Saeed Rahma, also participated in the meeting. He explained the exam regulations, student issues, and their implications in the academic system.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College, Dr Ibrahim Al-Dawood attended the students' interventions, and answered their questions and inquiries.
