The dean of the college, Dr. Badr Al-Tamimi, and a number of the college’s staff participated in the release of 34 wild animals in the Oryx Reserve in Al-Halwa, on Wednesday, 12/7/1445 AH. This activity came within the program of the National Center for Wildlife Development to protect endangered species and enhance biodiversity in the Kingdom The released animals included 20 Arabian oryx and 14 birds, including eagles, cats and owls Dr. Al-Tamimi expressed his happiness to participate in this important environmental event, affirming the role of the college in supporting initiatives aimed at preserving the environment and wildlife. He praised the efforts of the National Center for Wildlife Development in implementing projects to increase and relocate wild animals and conduct environmental studies and surveys The Oryx Reserve is one of the most important protected areas in the Kingdom, as it contains more than 2000 wild animals of various species
