Under the patronage of the Vice Dean of the College of Business Administration, Dr. Maliha bint Muhammad Al-Qahtani, the Student Activities Unit at the College organized a field visit to the Ibex Reserve in Hawtat Bani Tamim on Wednesday, corresponding to 26/7/1445. A number of college students participated in the visit.
The trip started with the students to the reserve and they met in the Arwa hall where the meeting was started by Professor Qais Saud Al-Hazaa, who welcomed this partnership with the college and gave an introductory lecture on the Ibex Reserve. He reviewed in it the most important points and basics about the history of the reserve and its most important contents and the urge to spread awareness in the society about the importance of preserving the natural and cultural heritage of the region
After that, they toured the reserve's exhibition, which includes a collection of stuffed animals and pictures taken from the reserve. The students were able to see the oryx and learn about their types, behaviors and nutrition.
