The college, in collaboration with Al-Halwa Charitable Association, organized a training program on Monday, corresponding to 9/8/1445 Hijri, under the title “Financial Safety in Charitable Associations”. The program was presented by Dr. Mahmoud Magdi Barbery, Assistant Professor in the Finance Department at the college.
The program covered topics including an overview of civil work and its importance in achieving sustainable development, and governance standards of civil work that ensure the highest levels of transparency and accountability. Dr. Mahmoud also discussed the regulations related to civil work and how to apply them to serve the general objectives of the associations.
The program emphasized the importance of the financial safety standard for civil associations and the necessity of its application to ensure the continuity of charitable work and protect it from financial risks. Financial safety in the face of money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism was also addressed.
The program concluded with an open discussion, where participants shared their opinions and inquiries.
