The college’s scout team participated in the global digital camp for wireless and Internet amateurs (JOTA-JOTI). The camp was organized by the International Federation of the Scout Movement in the presence of the college’s dean, Dr. Badr Al-Tamimi, and the participation of more than 17 million male and female scouts from 168 countries.
The camp, which lasted for three days, included a group of digital and interactive activities and events that aimed at enhancing communication, cooperation and cultural exchange between scouts from different parts of the world. The camp also aimed at developing the participants’ skills in using modern technologies and encouraging them to contribute to overcome global challenges.
Dean of the College, Dr. Badr Al-Tamimi, expressed his appreciation for the Scout team who participated in this global digital camp, and for the enthusiasm, interaction and creativity they showed up. He also praised their ability to communicate and get acquainted with Scouts from various countries. He stressed the College’s support for all Scouting activities and programs that contribute to developing the personality of students and develop their talents and abilities too.
