The college’s female section organized a program entitled: ‘Introduction to Business Administration’ on Wednesday 17/4/1445 AH. The event took place in a hall where leaflets and banners were displayed to introduce the concept of planning, its characteristics and elements, and the obstacles hindering its way.
The program aimed to introduce female students to the basics of management and its role in achieving institutional goals and vision. The program was presented by Ms. Fatima Al-Hamoud who explained the concept of planning, its types, stages and benefits. She explained that planning is considered one of the most important stages of management which requires defining goals, strategies, plans, resources, responsibilities and indicators. She pointed out some factors and constraints that affect the quality and effectiveness of planning such as environmental, organizational, technological and human changes. The students benefited from the program and interacted with it positively. They also asked some questions and inquiries about planning and management. Some gifts were distributed to the attendees at the end of the program.
