The college (female student section) organized a program titled (The Economic Problem) on Tuesday, corresponding to 1445/4/23 AH.
The program aimed to introduce students to the concept of the economic problem, its elements, causes, and effects on the individual and society, as well as the concept of the production possibilities curve, how to draw it, analyze it, and use it to determine the available economic choices.
The program also included an explanation of the concept of equilibrium price and how to determine it using the supply and demand model, and some practical applications on calculating consumer surplus, producer surplus, and social surplus.
The students participated enthusiastically in the program, showed interest in economic and analytical topics, and demonstrated the ability to solve some economic problems in an easy and simplified way.
