With the attendance of the dean of the college, Dr. Badr Al-Tamimi, and the vice dean of the college for educational and academic affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Tamimi, the college, represented by the community service, in partnership with the municipality of Hawtat Bani Tamim, organized a program (dialogue sessions) on Friday, 14/7/1445 AH, in the wilderness park in the province, with the aim of enhancing the social and recreational ties between the faculty members, students, and the local community.
The first session was titled Digital Technology and Its Impact on Society, presented by Dr. Abdulwahid Mutawakkil Al-Tayeb, an assistant professor in the Department of Administrative Information Systems at the college. He addressed the most important transformations and changes that digital technology has brought about in various aspects of public and private life, what are the benefits and concerns that resulted from it, and how we can exploit it positively and prevent it from negatively affecting our values and identity.
