The college, represented by the student activities unit, organized an awareness and training program titled (Volunteering is Happiness) on Monday, 24/7/1445, with the aim of encouraging female students to participate in volunteer work and increase their awareness of its importance in serving the society and developing their personal and professional skills. A number of female students who expressed their readiness and enthusiasm for volunteering and inviting others to join participated in the program. The activities supervisor, Ms. Manal Al-Duhaim, talked about the concept of volunteering, its goals, fields, and benefits, and its role in achieving social responsibility and contributing to the implementation of the vision 2030. She also mentioned some stories and examples from the Holy Quran and reality about volunteering and its impact on the lives of individuals and communities. At the end of the program, a volunteer team named (One Body) was formed, which includes a number of female students, and aims to implement projects and initiatives that serve the national and humanitarian goals. Some publications and gifts about volunteering were distributed, and the mechanism of registering on the volunteer work platform was explained. It is an electronic platform that connects the entities that want to provide volunteer services and the entities that need them. The program received praise and admiration from the participating female students, who affirmed the importance of such programs in developing the spirit of volunteering, initiative, and creativity among the female students, and in enhancing the values of citizenship, belonging, and loyalty to the homeland.
