The college, represented by the Community Service Unit, organized a training program for the staff of Al-Halwa Municipality titled: (Excellence in Customer Service). The program was presented by Dr. Hakim Al-Eid bin Hassan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Administrative Information Systems at the college, on Thursday, corresponding to 1445/4/18 AH.
The program aimed to develop the skills and knowledge of the municipality’s staff in the field of customer service, and to enhance the concept of quality and excellence in job performance. Dr. Hakim Al-Eid explained the concept of customer service, its importance, and its impact on customer satisfaction, loyalty, and the reputation of the institution.
He also clarified some methods, tools, and skills necessary to provide excellent customer service, such as effective communication, active listening, problem-solving, dealing with complaints, respect, and cooperation. The participants interacted with the program and applied some exercises and practical cases that enhance their skills in customer service. Attendance certificates were distributed to the participants at the end of the program.
The participants praised the program and its presenter and affirmed its benefit and quality. Dr. Al-Eid invited the participants to apply what they learned in their work and strive for excellence and creativity in customer service. He pointed out that the Community Service Unit at the college continues to provide training and consulting programs for government and private institutions in various administrative and financial fields. He emphasized the importance of cooperation and partnership between the college and the municipality in serving the community.
